2026/09/03 - Amazon Elastic VMware Service - 2 new api methods

Changes  Amazon EVS now allows users to set, update, and retrieve values for parameters that apply across all EVS Environments in their account at a regional level, such as the VCF License portability core count.

PutAccountSettings (new) Link ¶

Creates or updates account-level EVS settings for your Amazon Web Services account in the specified Amazon Web Services Region.

EVS settings included in the request are created or overwritten. Settings omitted from the request retain their current values.

A list of regional account-level EVS settings to create or update. Only the settings included in this list are modified.

  • (dict) --

    A regional account-level EVS setting, represented as a name and value pair.

    • name (string) -- [REQUIRED]

      The name of the EVS setting. Valid values are:

      • vcfPortedCoreCount (type: numeric string) - The total number of VCF license cores ported to Amazon EVS for the account in that Region. The maximum value is 1,000,000 cores. This setting value is shared with Broadcom for record-keeping.

    • value (string) -- [REQUIRED]

      The value of the EVS setting.

GetAccountSettings (new) Link ¶

Returns the configured EVS settings for your Amazon Web Services account in the specified Amazon Web Services Region. If no settings have been set, an empty list is returned.
